LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Executive Director Jodi John-PippinAs the new Executive Director of the Iredell Arts Council, I am pleased to share with you my personal mission to help grow the Arts in our community.

My mission is to give the people of Iredell County the opportunity to ignite their creativity in unexpected ways, giving them a chance to explore their passions, which advances the arts and brightens the world.

I believe that "people grow the arts, but art grows the people."

Some of the changes you will see in this new phase of growth for the Iredell Arts Council are as follows:

  • More programming offered at the Old Jail where we operate (lessons, art classes, workshops, etc.)
  • Creation of a new volunteer base (please call or email to see how you can participate and benefit)
  • A stronger partnership with other arts organizations and county businesses to provide more public events
  • Potential for mentorship of youth through the arts and/or outreach
  • More fundraising and donorship building, so that we can strengthen our own capability to bring you the level of programming and events that we strive for.

Thank you for visiting our website.

Please call 704-873-6100 or email iredellarts@bellsouth.net with any questions. You are always welcome to come by our office at 203 S. Meeting St. in the Old County Jail.

I am very honored and proud to serve you as the new Executive Director.

Most Sincerely,

Jodi John-Pippin
